IF LESS IS MORE,

MAKE IT BEAUTIFULLY INTENTIONAL

Nestled inside an iconic Mancunian building of early nineteenth century origin, this well appointed two bedroom, one bathroom home of approximately 710 square feet was once part of a merchant’s warehouse, with neighbouring buildings later becoming rehearsal spaces for the renowned Manchester band The Smiths. Today, it has been reimagined as a refined yet deeply comfortable home, designed with couples and small groups in mind.

The design philosophy is inspired by the Scandinavian concept of mysa, a way of living that values comfort, calm and contentment in equal measure. Light moves softly across the limewashed herringbone floor, its gentle tone grounding the interior in warmth and simplicity. Tactile fabrics, polished concrete finishes and simple forms invite relaxation, while the open plan layout maintains a quiet sense of flow. It is a space that feels both grounded in heritage and elevated by design, where past and present meet in perfect harmony.
